What's therapy with Jennifer Diamond like?
In our work together, you can show up exactly as you are. Not polished. Not with it all figured out. Just real. I believe there's room for everything that you're carrying — the hard things and the hopeful things, all at once.
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means we won't chase away difficult thoughts or try to fix what you're feeling. Instead, we'll practice noticing the thoughts. Allowing feelings to be there without letting them take over. Helping you find self-compassion when you need it most. And woven through everything, we'll keep finding our way back to the core of what matters to you. What makes your life feel meaningful.

I hold a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University and completed additional years of doctoral training at PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. What types of clients does Jennifer Diamond work with?
You might be navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief, a relationship that's changing or ending, or a life transition that feels bigger than you expected. Maybe you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you're carrying too much on your own.
Many of my clients are writers, researchers, teachers, artists, or people in helping professions. Many have been told they feel too much or are too sensitive. Others have heard they're hard to read or have trouble asking for help. You don't need to fit a certain mold to work with me. What matters is that you're willing to show up, even if you're a little nervous. Even if you're still figuring out if therapy is right for you.
What chronic illnesses does Jennifer Diamond work with?
I work with people living with chronic pain and chronic illness, including fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, ME/CFS, long COVID, endometriosis, migraines, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, multiple sclerosis, and inflammatory bowel disease to name a few. As someone who lives with chronic illness herself, I understand how much it matters to feel seen and believed.
How does chronic illness affect mental health and well-being?
Living with chronic illness can be isolating. The unpredictable symptoms. The grief over your old life. The medical professionals or family and friends who don't always believe you. Depression and anxiety aren't signs you're doing something wrong — they're understandable responses to living with pain and exhaustion that others often can't see.
Do I need to have a chronic illness to work with Jennifer Diamond?
No. While I have deep experience with chronic illness, I work with people navigating all kinds of challenges. Anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship struggles, learning to be kinder to yourself.
